Poetry
Weird, wonderful and experimental
Like many teens, I was an absolute cringefest. So much so, I anonymously posted (bad, very bad) poems online.
My inner poet lay dormant until my second year at uni. I took an Avant Garde Poetry module, and my. mind. was. blown. I had no idea poetry didn't have to rhyme or have a set structure.
After that, there was no stopping me.
I started writing. And, I got stuck into the Canterbury poetry scene, performing wherever anyone would let me. I self-published my first poetry collection, Skin, in 2016. Then released my second collection, Spectra, with Litmus Publishing in 2017.
Other poems have appeared in various poetry zines, journals and stages (check ‘em out below).
